Teaching and Student Projects

Teaching of population geography occurs at undergraduate, postgraduate coursework and research higher degree levels at the University of Queensland.

Undergraduate

Foundation courses (GEOG2205, GEOG2001, GEOG3205) and individual research topics (GEOS3400)  in population studies and  can be taken in the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science. Undergraduate honour programs offer a yearlong intensive research experience.

Postgraduate Coursework

Foundation courses  and individual research topics are offered through the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences.

Research Higher Degree

These programs offer students a unique opportunity to intensively develop knowledge and skills in population studies. Below is a list of possible research projects. Contact academic staff directly for more information.
